This Saturday My Husband, My Daughter and Daughter in law and I are running a 5k, that is a 3.1 mile run. My first 5k was last year, I ran it in about 30 minutes. I was excited, than I ran a 5 mile run and ran that in 51 min. It felt good to run and actually finish. I have never been a runner, but I have always been active playing soccer, swimming and teaching water aerobics. Now that I am exercising, eating right and taking supplements I feel even better. I have lost about 30lbs and I have about 20 more to go.
One thing that my husband and I have learned is that there is a lot of bad things that we were putting into our bodies and did not realize it, such as Hydrogenated, High Fructose Corn syrup, or Trans fat. We started reading labels when we go to the Grocery Store every item we pick up an item we look to see if this is healthy enough for us to eat. Than we were introduced to Shaklee products, we heard great testimonials and found out that all the labels were all natural and good for you and they also have great cleaning products for the environment. This fit right in to our plan of staying healthy.
